New Year's Eve!

Hope everyone had a GREAT New Year's Eve! It's crazy to think what we used to do on this night 5 years ago vs. what we do now. Staying out late, drinking and then waking up late with a hangover! Now we just stay home and hang out with the kids. It's fun but hopefully in the next few years as they get older, maybe Vic and I will get to have a "night out" for New Year's Eve!?

We got a great idea from Angela about the making pizzas so that's the activity we did with the kids. Everyone got to make their own pizza for dinner. While dinner was cooking the kids played with poppers and sparklers out front. Of course Logan loved the sparklers but Kira was not too sure about them... she was a little afraid. Kira usually goes to bed sooooo early so for her going to bed on this night at 7:30 was LATE! Logan on the other hand, our normal "night owl" stayed up until 10:30. I am sure he would of lasted until midnight but he went to school this day and had NO nap. Overall, we had a nice and comfortable night in.

Party hats on and ready to make pizza! Kira digging in to eat the mozzarella cheese!

Kira and Logan watching and waiting patiently for Daddy to light the sparklers!

The pizza's Logan and Kira made all by themselves (somewhat). YUMMY!

HAPPY 2009 TO ALL!

Trying to create the perfect Christmas Tree Glow!

I love images of Christmas trees that are GLOWING bright from the lights. A flash image is just not as flattering. I noticed today that our Christmas tree is not looking so good. It's drooping, drying up and dying so I thought that I better hurry up and try to capture my glowing tree before it's too late! The first image was taken when it was totally DARK in the living room except that little lamp that looks like it's putting off a bunch of light but in reality it's more like a night lite lamp. The key.... SLOW shutter speed on a non-moving object! Yeah! I love the glowy lights on the tree!

Christmas Lights!

I know it's a little late and past the anticipation of Christmas but we finally got out tonight to go view the Christmas lights and crazy decorations at East Lake. It's something we normally do each year at least once if not a few times. This year was a bit different, too busy, not in the mood, too cold, oh and the kids both had the stomach "bug" and then Logan just had pneumonia. Anyhow, we usually walk around the lake with the stroller as you should but this year we became those LAME people we would always make fun of..... we DROVE the car! HA! I just didn't feel like being freezing cold! We bundled the kids up for the car ride (LOL) so we could roll down the windows for them to see the lights better. I must say, going to look at Christmas lights after Christmas has already come and gone is really NO FUN! Just not the same. Hopefully next year we will get out much earlier for Christmas light viewing.

Logan and Kira dressed and ready to go! I love excuses for having them wear beanies!

Funny how in this picture neither of them looks the least bit excited to go Christmas light viewing. I think they see me, Mom and my camera and just don't care anymore. They did enjoy themselves though. Logan had to comment on all the things he saw from trains to Santa's etc. Kira just kept yelling, "LIGHTS" and "GO" because we were driving too slow for her liking.
She is definitely a "back seat driver" already!

Christmas and Logan's 4th Birthday!

Logan was so eager to wake up and see if Santa had brought gifts for everyone. He could hardly wait to look and go downstairs. I LOVE this kid as he has the most animated and exciting personality ever! He loved all his presents and even enjoyed opening everyone else's presents for them. Kira on the other hand came downstairs, saw her tricycle and that's really all she cared about (for only that moment). She didn't seem interested in opening gifts or playing too much with anything she recieved. I know you are thinking she is CRAZY but all she wanted to do was eat ALL the CANDY that was in her stocking!!! She is seriously candy crazy lately and I don't get it. You would think it was Halloween or something but even then she didn't care that much for candy. LOL! Later on in the morning she did enjoy her new Bitty Baby doll and her Zebra flip flops and purse. I must say this little girl LOVES baby dolls, LOVES purses and LOVES shoes!

Here's the moment she came down the stairs and saw her tricycle! She jumped on with JOY but that only lasted less than a minute and she was already off of it! LOL!

Logan was "dying" to get the Leapster game system and games. He told Santa that's all he wanted everytime he saw him. Good thing "Santa" came thru!

Here is little Miss Kira and her RING POP at 7:30 in the morning!!! While we were all opening gifts this is what she sat and did...... eat CANDY! Your probably thinking, "what parent gives their kid candy in the morning"? I just didn't want anyone crying on Christmas morning.
Merry Christmas from the Tiborczszeghy's! This is a part of the living room in my parent's new rental home. It's a nice home but it just isn't "HOME"!

Uncle Colin walking the PRINCESS down the stairs!

This little one was being so silly and charming to everyone all night! She looked like quite the little diva when she walked in wearing her pretty Christmas dress and a white fur coat! LOL!

Logan once again opening everyone's gifts at my parent's house! Why not, it's his birthday!

Here's his little 4-inch Spiderman birthday cake! I would of made him a cake myself but he is so into Spiderman right now and there is no way I'd be able to make a decent Spiderman cake.

Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas! Happy New Year next week!

The Stockings Were Hung...

by the chimney with care, in hopes that St. Nick soon would be there! Ha, ha! Before Logan went to bed, he, Vic and I prepared this little table for Santa! Hope Santa enjoys his midnight snack!

Twas The Night Before Christmas...

Another pair of CUTE matching pajamas for such a good little boy and girl! Today was a "good" day even though my poor little birthday boy has been sick this week with Pneumonia (sp?). We stayed in of course but they both were able to play together, watch a movie, play video games, make Santa cookies, eat dinner, have a nice bath, put cute pajamas on and ready for sweet dreams of sugar plums dancing in their heads! (Did I get that last part right? LOL!)

Here they are cracking up as I am holding a Santa TOY that sings and dances but for some reason he was also making FARTING sounds! They thought it was hilarious but hey... whatever gets them to smile for me!
Birthday boy and our BEST Christmas present ever!

Our two little GOOFBALLS! Sweet Dreams as tomorrow will be a wonderful day no matter what! Happy early 4th Birthday Logan!

Making Cookies for SANTA!

We made cookies for Santa this afternoon. The kids had as much fun as possible because I somewhat give them limitations on what they can actually do because I hate messes! LOL! Logan was a great helper while Kira was not in a very good mood because she thought once again this activity would include CANDY for her to eat!

Tiny Gingerbread men for Santa on Kira's new baking cookie sheet.

Little Chef Kira thought it was funny to run after me because she thought I was going to give her CANDY! She even grabbed a bowl to put the "candy" in!

Here they are eating the final products! I just realized this image doesn't quite look like they enjoyed them but they did! LOL! Merry Christmas!

SuRpRiSe! It's SANTA! Happy Birthday!

Tonight we celebrated Logan's 4th birthday with family since his birthday actually falls on Christmas Day! We also invited The Rodieck's to join us as well. We had a surprise visit from Santa Claus! He brought all the kids gifts and it was the funniest thing because after he passed out the gifts the kids could care less that Santa was sitting there. I was surprised that no one wanted to talk with him or ask any questions. Ha! Kira once again was NOT fond of Santa and neither was little Ava! She screamed so loud our ears were bleeding! LOL!

Logan and Kira with their cousins Dalton and Brock and Santa too! Kira didn't want anything to do with Santa and freaked out when we told Dalton to hold her for a picture.

We were all surprised but very pleased that all the kids sat down and ate their dinner while watching the Grinch movie!

I love how Mikayla is so "maternal" and sweet towards Kira. I am sure she is a wonderful help to Jules and a great big sister to Ava!

Here she is, little Miss Ava! She maybe afraid of Santa but she isn't afraid to run about the house and charm everyone!

Happy 4th Birthday Logan from Spiderman! This was a fun cake.... if anyone wants some we have lots leftover!
