Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving to all! It's unbelievable that our Thanksgiving wasn't at my parents house this year as usual. That's what we do every single year on every single holiday... go to my parents house! I still find myself almost driving over there to visit then it hits me that it's no longer there. Despite this year being "different" I still think our Thanksgiving was a good one. At least we were all together, safe and healthy. A few hours was spent at Colin's house and dinner was at my house. My mom was still able to whip up an awesome Thanksgiving meal even though she didn't have her own kitchen space and cookware. Thanks to Jules and family for giving us a wonderful turkey!

We're Having a Party!

Our normal mornings start out pretty much with cartoons and breakfast for the kids and COFFEE for me! On this morning I was upstairs on the computer and realized it was awfully quiet downstairs. I went downstairs and the two little ones were no where to be found. I heard something in the laundry room and opened the door... there they both were! I asked what they were doing in there and Logan replied, "Were having a PARTY"! They had gathered some toys, backpacks, stuffed animals, a stroller and such for their party! LOL! So funny how kids find simple things to do to have fun.

Fire Victims/Relief Donations...

If anyone would like to help out the Fire Victims with giving donations or gift cards that would be wonderful. You can give to East Lake Village Clubhouse in YL or up at Anaheim Hills Festival Center by the Police Station. You'll see signs. If you can't get to these places you are more than welcome to mail them to me directly or drop them off at my house and I will make sure to get them to the correct place. Any amount will be helpful and I am sure it will be greatly appreciated. Thanks to all that have helped my family directly or anyone else!

I have a Pettiskirt Problem!

I think I have a Pettiskirt problem or shall I say... slight "addiction"!?! I guess it's a good thing for Kira or a good thing for my photography clients that get to borrow them. I just LOVE these pettiskirts! Kira now owns FOUR and I don't see myself stopping anytime soon!!! (Well unless Vic suddenly figures out that I am crazy) They are so darn cute, so darn fluffy and are a great asset for my photography. I've found a great lady that custom makes these for me and she is wonderful. Can't wait to see this on Kira! Hopefully someday soon I'll be able to get Kira into this and take a few pictures so at least I'll get my mind off the house my parents lost to the fires. So glad to have recieved this today in the mail because it did put a smile on my face.

Anyone want to have a "Pettiskirt Photography Party" with Kira and I? Let me know... lots of little girls in pettiskirts would be so precious.

Heart Breaking News...

As most of you family and friends already know that my parents house was greatly or actually completely affected by the horrible Yorba Linda fires this past weekend. It has been completely devastating and unreal. It was hard to live the moment of being so alone with Logan and Kira left in the car alone in the driveway as I had to run inside my parents house get the cats and gather whatever I could. I was in sheer panic and didn't quite know what I was doing or what I was suppose to get. I didn't take much at all, just the 3 cats and a few pictures hanging on the wall. They were mostly old pictures of my parents when they were younger as well as childhood pictures of Colin and I. I think that's the most scared I've ever been. At least we are all ok and we'll see what happens next. Here's a few of several pictures I took today. (You can click on the image to enlarge and view better). Thanks so much for all of those that have called, come or helped in any way. We greatly appreciate it and am so happy to have such wonderful friends but more like "family"!

Kira's Last Swim Lesson!

Little Miss Kira had her last swim lesson today. She is such a little fish and loves the water!
So happy she did so well with Miss Cerra. Here she is waiting her turn to get in... Floating all by herself!!!

My Little Fish!

Kira is much different than Logan in a lot of ways! She loves water and during bath time she loves to try what she knows from swim lessons in the tub! She practically will lay on her belly and just constantly goes under the water and stays there holding her breath. Then she also enjoys turning over onto her back and practices floating. All this she does on her own, I don't even tell her to do it. We are going to have so much fun in Hawaii next month and in Cabo next year with this swimming little fish of ours!

How To Grow a "Wiener"...

So the conversation about boys having wieners and girls not having them has been going on for quite a while with Logan. He will name off people he knows and will then say whether they have a "wiener" or not. He has been playing a preschool computer game and on it you have to plant a seed into a pot to grow a flower. Well the other day I was going to the bathroom and he came in and said, "Mom, you don't have a wiener"?! I said, "no I don't, I am a girl". Then he preceeded to tell me how I could GROW one! He said all I needed was to plant a seed and then I could grow myself a wiener! Ha! Was I laughing or what?! Kids say the funniest things!

Happy Halloween 2008!!!

Happy Halloween from the Tiborczszeghy's! Wow, this year was a lot of fun with having an almost 4 yr old and an almost 2 yr old! They had a blast and actually lasted pretty long. Logan was Spiderman and Kira was a Flower Fairy.... they both were too CUTE! Wish they had some other kiddos/cousins to hang with but that's ok, we had my parents and Colin (aka President Regan) there. It was a fun night!

Pumpkin Cupcakes!

I did my "mom duty" and made 32 pumpkin cupcakes for Logan's preschool class! They were having a Halloween parade and party and this was my contribution. It was a lot of work the night before but I'd rather make them than buy them because to me the ones at the grocery store are gross! I think they turned out cute!

Logan's Pre-School Pictures!

I picked up Logan's 1st Pre-School Pictures today! I can't believe my "baby", my little buddy is growing up so fast! I think he looks totally handsome (of course, I am his mother)! He has such a good time at school and he learns new things all the time. He has his favorite "buddies" there as well. One of his favorite friends is an adorable little girl named Priya. They seriously LOVE each other! It is so cute how excited they both get when they see each other. Logan talks about her all the time and I found out from Priya's mom that she too talks about Logan all the time! She is the little girl sitting in the front row next to Logan. (The pics aren't that clear because I took a picture of the actual pictures, just click on them to view bigger).

My Silly Kids!

Of course Logan wears hats.... he's a boy. Kira has taken on to all the "girly" stuff like carrying around her purse, pushing the baby in the stroller, cleaning, washing her face, having a preference in shoes and clothes etc. but she realized every time we leave the house Logan gets a hat and why not her. So I found a smaller hat of Logan's and put it on her. She loved it and I thought she looked so cute! Here they are being my silly kids!

YL Pumpkin Patch!

The kids had a great time at this pumpking patch in YL! We went to this one last year when Kira was still a baby! They both loved holding the baby chicks and petting the animals. Kira especially loved the goats and feeding them. To our surprise she wasn't frightened at all!

It was such a HOT day today as well! Here's Logan taking Kira for a ride. Good thing it was a short one....both their cheeks were red from it being so hot out!

Another Sibling? NO WAY!!!

So in my mom's culture or something her mother told her.... when your youngest one starts doing this manuever it means that they are looking under their legs for another sibling and that another sibling will be coming. WHAT? Not sure if it's a "Tall Tale" but Logan actually started doing this around the time I became pregnant with Kira. So Kira's started doing this now so I am guessing it's just the age because there is NO WAY possible I'd be pregnant again!! LOL! Silly Kids!!!
