Logan's Jusa and School Pictures

Here's Logan's official JUSA soccer pictures! I wasn't there the day he had these done but I think they turned out pretty cute. Don't know what's up with the team photo placement... Looks a bit OFF to me, LOL! Then below is Logan's 2009 California Preschool pictures. Actually, I think he looks cute in both but I am soooo NOT FOND of both the image qualities. I guess it's something that no matter what you have to buy in your child's life for keepsake memories for when thry grow up. Otherwise I mind as well do my own JUSA Soccer pics and School pics myself!!!

"Fo-Hawk"?

I cut Logan's hair today and decided to try and cut a "Fo-Hawk". It's just a small one and it's cute when he lets me do it with gel but I usually have to bribe him cuz he hates having his hair done. I think he looks cute! Doesn't matter, it's just hair and his grows really fast!

1st SOCCER Practice!

Logan started soccer practice today! This is his first time playing soccer and JUSA. Luckily the coach is Joe and someone we know. From the looks of it the kids enjoyed their first soccer practice and actually listened to both coaches. I am sure this will be a fun and interesting season.

Taking a run to a tree and back. Logan is one of the younger one's on the team along with Joe's son Jack and cousin Jude. Jack and Logan got along great. I almost think they may be the two "trouble makers"!?

Here's Kira showing us how to run back and forth on the field. If you've seen this girl run it's HILARIOUS! She thinks the faster she moves her arms all around then her legs will move even faster. Too funny!

Then with camera in hand and Kira wanting to venture off to the playground, I of course had to take a minute to make her pose for Mommy. These shots took all of 1 minute and she was OVER it and ready to go on the slide, the swings and climb the jungle gym!


At least she is SMILING! Must be a rare occassion!

NO DOUBT AGAIN...

Went to the No Doubt concert again but this time it was in Irvine at Verizon Wireless Amp. I do LOVE the Gibson Theatre but I think I like Irvine as well. It's a different vibe since it's outdoors I think. Tonight I went with my No Doubter friend Liz and Angela and Brianna. It was Brianna's 1st ND concert so that was exciting. I am pretty sure she had a good time, I don't think anyone would have anything other than a good time no matter what!



Here's just a portion of the crowd that was there. It's amazing how many people fill up the entire area!

I LOVE my Gwen and she is just AMAZING! I've loved them for so long for so many reasons but DANG that girl is in the BEST shape I think I've seen in all the time's I've seen her! Must be nice to have some motivation like a HUGE tour to get ready for, a Trainer everyday and probably a Chef. Hmmm, we'd all look like her if we had all that right?! I'd hope so!



So glad I was able to sneak in my camera for all these shots! I think they turned out pretty good considering how far away we were. But we did have pretty good seats, definitely not the upper seats or the lawn! It's so different going to a packed area where I now have to actually sit in a seat for a ND concert. I can remember way back in the day where they played at small venues, small PACKED venues and I was always in the Pit and within touching distance of Gwen with my little dinky throw away camera. I even made signs to hold up and got her gifts every concert to pass up to her. Too bad that was then and now I am 31 yrs old still LOVING them but now have to sit in a darn seat. Well not actually sitting but you know what I mean. LOVE NO DOUBT and GWEN! :)

My Angel

I had Kira's pics taken last week by a photographer we've worked with before. I just like her stuff even though she's so expensive but oh well. Anyhow, I haven't gotten my images yet but their so cute, can't wait to post them. It was an indoor studio session so different than what I'm used to. Logan got in a few too. Here's a current fav that I did of Kira. I got the idea to use a fan cuz of the photo shoot last week. Wait to you see this one image of Kira from the seesion... she SOOOOO looks like a baby SUPERMODEL that should be on the cover of "Cosmo Baby"! LOL! :) I can't wait to get it.

NO DOUBT!

We went to NO DOUBT tonight and met my No Doubter friend Liz there with her boyfriend. It's been a LONG time since I've seen them, so glad their on tour again. Last time they were on tour I was 11 weeks pregnant with Logan at a show. They were AWESOME as usual and my girl Gwen rocked! She was in the BEST shape I have ever seen! Totally skinny (almost too skinny) but totally RIPPED! He abs are unbelievable and little Zuma isn't even 1 year old yet. Gosh, talk about inspiration. Can't wait to go again this weekend with Ang and Brianna! It will be their first ND experience and I am afraid they will be "afraid" of Liz and I and our crazy rocking out, LOL!

Kira Ice Skating

Kira started her Ice skating lessons today. Thank goodness these lessons are in YL off La Palma. We hated having to drive far away to Logan's lessons. This is a Mommy and me class and it's pretty fun at least for me cuz I get to be out on the ice as well. She somewhat enjoyed it but kept repeating "Whoa, Whoa" and "I'm done"! At least it's a nice place to go into to get out of the heat. It's actually really not that cold in there. I dressed her as you see because Logan's ice rink in Anaheim was FREEZING and this ice rink is the opposite. Now I know she can just wear pants and a long sleeved shirt and will be fine. Had a Newborn photo session today coming over to the house so Logan decided he wanted to pose for me before they arrived (I didn't even ask him). He's so good at this modeling thing, so easy to work with and actually wants to be in front of the camera. I LOVE IT!

CIRCUS!

Yeah, we went to the Circus! It was a FUN experience and we started the night out with Logan's ice skating lessons, then went to dinner and while I was sitting there eating a piece of pizza.... my brain remembered that I had forgotten the tickets at home!!! The show was 30 minutes away from starting! Vic had to drive all the way home, get the tickets and come back and meet us in the front of the Honda Center entrance. Ya know, when you have kids and have sooo many things to think about, etc. it is very easy to forget something. I think probably everyday I must forget something when we leave the house. Please tell me I'm not the only one??

Good thing we did make our seats before the show started. The kids had a great time watching everything going on. They were even up dancing along with the clowns. Logan had a great time. Keep in mind age 4 is a good age to go but age 2... well maybe almost a good age to go. Age 3 would be better or maybe it's the fact that Kira was sick and about half way thru the show she could not stop being a little "worm" and getting up, getting down, wanting to sit here or there etc. She repeatedly begged to go home to her bed, poor baby. It was an exhausting night but a lot of fun! (Don't ask me why my paragraph above is underlined... I didn't do it)!

My Little Sickies!

So I don't know what the heck is with this posting thing! I am trying to post the normal way I always do and it's being a pain in my butt! Grrrr! Anyhow, here's our little "SICK-O's" resting and sleeping. Logan's better and actually went back to school today but little Kira is still somewhat miserable, clingy and crying for Mommy, sensitive, clumsy, sad, coughy etc. but still sometimes her normal crazy self. I know I HATE being sick so I feel bad when they are sick. At least they both have been able to sleep thru the night so that is good. It's summer so NO one is suppose to be sick! :)

4th of July 2009!

Happy 4th of July! We spent the day at my parent's house swimming in the pool and eating. They've been in this rental home since December and it was the first time we've used the pool. It also has a slide into the pool that we tested out. It's a rock slide and you can't just slide down it so we all used a trash bag (ghetto) to sit on and it totally worked! It was a lot of FUN and we did some jumps off the top of the rocks into the pool. Kira was brave enough to go down the slide with Vic but Logan wouldn't have anything to do with it. He's a bit more cautious with things.

We had a yummy early dinner and then all got ready to head out to watch fireworks. I can't remember the last time I did this... it's been years. So this was Logan and Kira's 1st time going to fireworks for the 4th of July.

While waiting for the firework show to start the kids had fun running around and playing. Kira I think was a little "crazy" since normally she'd already be in bed sleeping. She was a bit hyper running around in circles cracking up. Here she is using Papa's camera to take pictures.

Kira running around like a MAD WOMAN! Her sleeve on her dress kept falling off so she was running around practically half naked almomst. I had to change her into another outfit.

Logan made "friends" with a couple of adults who were playing with giant frizbees. They were nice enough to let Logan play with them. He had such a great time. I think there were a few times that he almost thru it into people's heads! Definitely something we should get for the beach.

When the fireworks started Logan was scared because he thought the "fire" part was going to fall on top of him. When he realized they would only be up in the sky and that he was safe he started to enjoy them. Kira just sat and watched. We had a GREAT 4th of July! Hope you all did too!
