My Pretty Girl!

So this is funny at least to me..... I was going to use this new backdrop on a little "fun" session with Zoe & Ayden and after giving Kira a bath and "primping" her up I just made her be the little "guinea pig" for me. LOL! She loves to put on make-up from watching me so it was so funny because she let me put a tad of lip gloss and blush on her (as usual) but then she actually let me use an eyelash curler on her eyelashes!!! HA! That was soooo FUN! I know I am NUTS but I absolutely LOVE having a daughter! What do you think is next.... mascara?! (Probably)

Of course she wouldn't be my "model" for free.... she had to get paid for her "services" with nothing else but CANDY!!! I think she is addicted to chocolate and lollipops! Is that ok at her age? LOL!

Today...

So today was many things... I was and am feeling so sick the last 2 days. Feeling NAUSEOUS like I just want to PUKE! (NO I am NOT pregnant)! Don't know what the heck it is but I've practically stayed in my pajamas all day except we had to take the kids to swim lessons this morning.

Logan and Kira started swim lessons again with Miss Cerra. Were just going to have them do it for a few weeks to "refresh" what they already know since we are leaving for Cabo soon. They both did soooo good today. Logan surprised me and did better than I've ever seeen. He was pretty much jumping in, swimming great, diving down for toys and this time even practicing his back floats which he normally hates. I guess that extra little incentive of "if you listen to Miss Cerra and do everything she says then we'll let you play a video game when you get home" WORKED! Even after Logans lesson Miss Cerra said to me, "Wow, he's like a different kid, totally open to anything"... then I started laughing. Oh well, what ever works!

Kira did great as well. She actually usually goes 2nd but this time she was begging to go first before Logan. She jumped right in back to where she was before of jumping in, swimming to the side, climbing out herself, diving down to get a toy and practicing back floats. It's truely amazing what they have learned!

Miss Cerra talking to Kira about how she wants her to jump into the pool. She's trying to get her to learn the concept of actually lunging forward and "diving" in rather than just "fall" into the water, LOL!

Then later today (even after a nap) this little, sweet angel actually does have TANTRUMS! She hardly does so this one was sooo funny to me I had to grab the camera. She asked for a hot dog for lunch and then after I made it she decided to tell me she didn't like it and that she wanted CANDY! I told her you can have a piece of candy after you eat your food..... she didn't like that! HA! She started freaking out, hysterically crying. I sent her to the corner which is our laundry room and she marched right in there.

Here she is in the laundry room giving me the "EVIL" face! LOL! I couldn't help but laugh with this situation. It was so ridiculously funny!

Then she decided instead of crying and being PISSED that she wanted me to HOLD her! So of course I gave in and picked her up to hold her and brought her out to the family room. She calmed down for just a second and then the whole routine started again. She said she didn't like her hot dog and wanted CANDY and then Vic and I said NO candy until after you eat..... she FREAKED out again! Here she is CRYING so sadly! LOL!

Now an update on Kira sleeping in her "Big Girl Bed".... she is the QUEEN of sleep! She is the easiest child I know since she was a baby! I don't think I can take very much credit for the way she is. I think she is the way she is because that's just her. We had NO problems with her switching from her crib into her bed. She still goes to bed at her regualar time around 6:30/7pm and sleeps all night until around 7am! She even asks to take a nap or go to bed for the night (she knows when she is tired and LOVES her sleep). She NEVER gets up out of bed and we now leave her door open and we can be loud and walk by and she still stays in her bed! I even get her up to change her diaper before I go to bed (around 11/11:30pm) and she goes back to bed just as easy or even easier! She is my sleep ANGEL!

Valentine's Day is coming!

Kira on a "Rainy" Day!

New STATS!

I've got new "Stats" here on the Tiborczszeghy kids! Since they both had their birthdays recently, they also had their check ups as well! I seriously still can NOT believe I have a FOUR year old and a TWO year old! I swear not that long ago I just had a TWO year old and a NEWBORN! Geez, where does the time go?! Here's their recent stats.....

Logan Michael at birth: 5 lbs. 9 oz. and 17 1/2 inches
Now at 4yrs old: 33 lbs. 8 oz. and 40.25 inches

Kira Alexis at birth: 6 lbs. 9 1/2 oz. and 20 inches
Now at 2yrs old: 24 lbs. 9 oz. and 34 inches

Kira's NEW BED, Karate and Dance!!!

So there's been a LOT of things going on here the last 2 days! First off as most of you read my previous post about Kira learning how to climb out of her crib last night! We went out today and got her a "BIG GIRL" bed! What a busy day we had. Anyhow, here is her crib right before Vic took it apart.....(sniff, sniff).

Here's the kids playing in Kira's new bed tonight! They both had been with my parents pretty much all day so we could run errands and get stuff done. When I brought her home to see her new bed she walked in and turned right around and walked out! LOL! I thought, "Oh no"! It actually turned out fine because they both wanted to help us put the sheets on the bed. I guess it does help to have an older sibling.

Sound ASLEEP! I hope I am not jinxing myself but tonight was really EASY! LOL! It was time for bed so I read her her 2 favorite books and laid in bed with her for about 10 minutes scratching her back. Then I told her I needed a drink and would be back (mean I know). She stayed in her bed for a good 10-15 minutes then got up. I met her at her door, put her back in her bed and said for her to stay in bed, go to sleep and I'll see her tomorrow. She did stay in bed for about 20 minutes more and then I saw her on the video monitor grabbing her doll and her sippy cup and getting out of bed. I intercepted her before she even got to her door. I just put her back in bed, said stay in bed and I'll see her tomorrow. After that I didn't hear a peep from her nor did she get out of bed. She fell asleep herself as usual, YEAH!!! Hopefully my wonderful sleeper will continue to be a wonderful sleeper!!! Wish us luck!

Logan had his first Karate class this afternoon. Man was he super cute when I put his outfit on! He joined right in and had a blast! He listened well and followed his Sensei's (sp) directions. I think this will be a great thing for him to learn.... discipline, respect etc.

Kira's been doing really good in her Ballet/Tap class. I swear, the little girls are so cute but obviously I think mine is the CUTEST EVER, LOL! It was so funny because near the end of class she just stopped what she was doing, walked over to me, sat down next to me on the bench and said, "Mommy go dance, I watch". I just started laughing.... I guess she thought she needed a break?!?

Time for a New Bed! NOW!

So last month we had been contemplating getting Kira a "BIG GIRL" bed. Today we actually had planned on just going to the place and buying it but then didn't have a truck to borrow to transport it. Too bad because of all days she figured how to climb out of her crib tonight!!!

I put her to bed her normal way and happen to leave the door open a crack because she wanted me to go get her some milk. I went downstairs meaning to get her milk but then got side-tracked and started cooking a late dinner for Vic and I. When dinner was about to be done I went up stairs to get something and noticed her bedroom door was wide open. I peeked in and didn't see any BODY inside the crib so I turned on the light and she was GONE! Where the heck did she go and HOW?!? I went into my bedroom and found her laying in my bed watching TV with Logan! It was totally SHOCKING but funny at the same time! I seriously could not believe it. We put her back in her crib and told her to show us how she climbed out. She did it again! It wasn't graceful at all, actually it was pretty scary! I don't want her falling out and breaking a bone or her neck! So I got her milk, put her back to sleep and honestly believed that was going to be it. Well was I wrong, shortly after we heard a "KABOOM" and ran up the stairs. She was crying because I am sure her fall wasn't a soft one and because she couldn't open her bedroom door. She told me she was AWAKE and wanted to watch TV with her brother. Keep in mind it's now after 8pm and this is not normal for her as she is my BEST sleeper ever and usually goes to bed around 6pm or so! Right now as I am writing this I am freaking out about what tonight is going to be like, LOL! I guess we are off tomorrow to go get her a "BIG GIRL" bed! I think I will cry!

A New "TOY" for Mommy!

So I got my new camera and have been SUPER excited to use it but also very nervous because it is SOOO much more complex than my other SLR camera. So many menus and functions etc. I sorta feel like I am back at the beginning. Anyhow, of course I need to play around with it and get familiar with it so here are my "models" Logan and Kira. I let them play in the backyard and have fun but they are so over me and my camera so if anyone else has a "model" for me than let me know! Your also probably wondering why so many pics of Kira and only ONE of Logan, LOL ...... he is just too busy playing, gets dirty and is just so "trained" for the camera that he does a lot of "fake" smiles.


Don't you just LOVE her cowboy (girl) boots?!?! :)

Presents & Birthday Cake!

After our fun day at Disneyland we went home and the kids were so exhausted we thought for sure they'd take a nap before dinner..... NOT really. They both fell asleep in the car on the way home but then woke up when we got there. Grrrr! They were so tired but refused to sleep. We went over to my parents rental home for dinner. Since we had such a big day we wanted to just relax and hang out. My Mom made Lasagna, Salad and Garlic bread... YUMMY! The kids were acting CRAZY the moment we stepped in the door. I think the lack of naptime made them delierious (sp?) but they had lots of fun anyways!

My parents bought this Tinkerbell costume for Kira at Disneyland. They also got her the matching shoes and a Tinkerbell doll to go with it! She loved it and couldn't wait to try it on! Here she is modeling her new dress up clothes.

Opening birthday presents! Logan is addicted to presents and he actually couldn't wait to help Kira open her's.... he actually opened almost of them for her! All this "girly" stuff is so FUN to buy her! I LOVE it!

I bought her these Barbie high heel shoes because like I mentioned before that she is seriously ADDICTED to SHOES!!! I even catch her digging thru my closet to find high heels to wear around the house. She absolutely ADORED these and put them on immediately and didn't take them off the whole evening. Our little cutie walked around the house in her Tink costume and high heels! Seriously, such a GIRL!

I ordered this cake because I thought the colors just looked great and that it was totally "girly". It just happen to be a coincidence and all work out since my parents bought her all Tinkerbell stuff from Disneyland. I guess you could say we sorta had an "accidental" Tinkerbell themed birthday.

"Happy Birthday to You"... when I lit Kira's candle and we all started singing "Happy Birthday" to her she could hardly wait to blow out the candle. You can see Logan trying to stop her from blowing and she is also trying to move his hand out of the way.

Make a WISH!!!!


After dinner, after presents and after cake it was time to play with NEW toys! Kira got this Disney Princess music player and my Dad had an idea to start a Conga line! LOL! So here the 3 of them are walking around the house, hanging onto each other's backside and doing the Conga dance to the Disney Princess music! It was hilarious and they had tons of FUN! The whole day was a fun and memorable one!
